Consultation

At Lyndhurst Chiropractic Clinic, your pathway to feeling better begins with a 1-Hour Consultation focused on understanding you — not just your symptoms, but your overall health, lifestyle, and personal goals. This allows us to create a personalised management plan that reflects your needs and supports your long-term wellbeing.

Clinical History

We begin by asking detailed questions about your current problem and how it’s affecting your daily life. We’ll also review your medical history and complete a general health screen to guide our diagnostic process.  Some questions may seem unrelated but each one helps us build a complete picture and ensure your care is safe and effective.

Physical Examination

We then carry out a thorough physical examination to gain further insight into your condition. This may include:

  • General health checks
  • Orthopaedic testing
  • Neurological assessments
  • Functional movement analysis

These tests help us identify the root cause of your symptoms and tailor your care accordingly.

Your Report of Findings and Personalised Management Plan

Once we’ve gathered all the necessary information, we’ll explain:

  • What we’ve found
  • What’s likely causing your symptoms
  • Our recommendations for care
  • Your options moving forward

You’ll have time to ask questions, share your goals, and discuss any preferences. Your management plan is collaborative. You are welcome to request changes at any time to ensure your care remains aligned with your needs.

Further Investigation (If Needed)

If we feel further investigation is necessary, we’ll talk this through with you during your appointment. We may:

  • Refer you for private imaging (Xray, CT or MRI)
  • Recommend a visit to your GP
